Community Involvement & Support

Donations and hours of volunteer work have made our relationship with St. Mary’s Child Center very special. St. Mary's Child Center was formed in 1961 to serve the needs of young children who have “fallen through the cracks” of private and public social services.

InTek is a proud financial supporter of IndyHumane, and its mission to improve animal welfare in central Indiana, with its commitment to ending the cycle of pet overpopulation, providing affordable pet ownership, and ensuring the well-being, health and safety of all animals in its care, as well as its goal to promote the human animal bond and the powerful impact this mutually beneficial relationship has on individuals, families, and the Indianapolis community.

InTek is a proud financial supporter of World Central Kitchen (WCK) and its use of the power of food to support communities in need around the world. WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises, building resilient food systems with locally led solutions.

InTek serves on a number of advisory boards for this great university. In addition to the board support, we also engage with students through guest classroom discussions and career support.

InTek leadership is a longtime member of the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) Board. IANA's mission is to promote the growth of efficient intermodal freight transportation through innovation, education and dialogue. InTek supports that mission not only with board membership, but with speaking engagements on podcasts, webinars, videos and in-person events.

InTek is an active member of the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA). TIA provides leadership and direction for the third party logistics (3PL) industry and professionals to advance professional standards and business practices. TIA serves more than 1,700 third-party logistics members and helps them better manage their companies for growth and profitability.
